Staff Sgt. Andrea Jansen, a 16th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, guides a cargo truck into position from the ramp of a C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Sept. 11, 2018. In anticipation of Hurricane Florence, more than 20 aircraft were evacuated from Joint Base Charleston, S.C., to designated safe locations in order to continue their global airlift operations. Following the stop at Andrews, Jansen and her crew flew to Scott Air Force Base, Ill., for crew rest ahead of an international mission.

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Staff Sgt. Andrea Jansen, a 16th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, guides a cargo truck into position from the ramp of a C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Sept. 11, 2018.
