628th OPERATIONAL MEDICAL READINESS SQUADRON

Mission

The 628th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron consists of the following 8 flights: Mental Health, Dental, Operational Medicine, Public Health, Bioenvironmental Engineering, Human Performance, Readiness and Family Advocacy. The OMRS team provides care to 4.7K TF members and ensures deploying personnel are medically ready and protected from occupational hazards and communicable diseases. Additionally, OMRS members conduct food inspections, verify the safety and sanitation of food served on base, and ultimately optimizes the human weapons system through wellness services.   The Squadron 46K visits annually with a $13M budget and 145 personnel in 16 specialties.
