Free tax preparation: Military OneSource is offering free tax preparation software to military members this year. The software, TaxCut Basic Online, is available to active-duty, guard, and Reserve servicemembers and their families. Military OneSource also offers a free consultation service to assist personnel with tax-related questions and financial planning. Information on the software and consultation service can be found at www.militaryonesource.com.
Tax preparation services are also available through the Charleston AFB Tax Center. The Tax Center offers free tax preparation services to active-duty members, retirees, reservists and guard on active duty, military family members and Department of Defense civilians with an identification card. For additional information on the installation tax program, please call a Tax Center representative at 963-1040.

Tops in Blue: Tops in Blue, the Air Force's premier talent showcase, is coming to the Charleston area and will be performing at the Charleston Performing Arts Center in the North Charleston Coliseum complex Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. The show is free and open to the public. There is no reserved seating or advance tickets. For more information, contact Judi Horry at 963-4323.

Commander's fitness challenge: The next Commander's Fitness Challenge is scheduled for today at 2:30 p.m., at the Fitness and Sports Center. The challenge will consist of squadron five-person coed teams who will compete for the fastest overall time in six events: 25-yard sandbag shuttle, team boardwalk, 25-yard litter carry, "Fit Loop" team relay, low crawl and sit-up/pushup challenge. Super Bowl party: The Charleston Club is hosting a Super Bowl XLI party on Sunday starting at 3 p.m. Food specials includes a buffet of free barbecued pork sandwiches, buffalo wings, chili dogs and more from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. for club members.
