JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Vivian Gadson, 628th Force Support Squadron flight chief of fleet and family services, explains the expansions and renovations to the child development center to Col. Terrence Adams, 628th Air Base Wing commander, after a ribbon cutting ceremony May 31, 2019, at the Joint Base Charleston Air Base, S.C. The 628th FSS CDC reopened several rooms and hired eight more staff members, allowing them to care for 74 additional infants, pre-toddlers, toddlers and preschoolers. The expansion on the CDC will help family members here by increasing available childcare services and resources, contributing to the overall quality of life for the Air Force and civilian families and enhancing Air Force readiness.
