Youth Center hosts deployment line for Airmen’s families

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - A child sits in a fire truck, Nov. 3, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The JB Charleston youth center hosted a deployment line for Airmen’s families to give them an idea of what a deployment is like for their parents. During the event, the kids heard deployment briefings, went through a mock deployment line, toured a C-17 Globemaster III and finished the day with interactive displays from the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department, EOD flight and 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron.
