JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior Airman Michael Frook, 628th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal technician, shows a youth center child how to control a robot during a mock deployment, Nov. 3, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The JB Charleston youth center hosted a deployment line for Airmen’s families to give them an idea of what a deployment is like for their parents. During the event, the kids heard deployment briefings, went through a mock deployment line, toured a C-17 Globemaster III and finished the day with interactive displays from the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department, EOD flight and 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron.
