JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Bryan Mead, 628th Security Forces Squadron Harbor Patrol Unit, gives a safety briefing to Sailors during a second-class swim qualification test Oct. 19, 2018, at the Danny Jones Recreational Center, North Charleston, S.C. Second-class swimmers are critical to the fleet mission and Sailors who man small boats patrolling harbors and performing perimeter security for ships at anchor are required to hold the second-class swim qualification.
