JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Tech. Sgt. Melissa Aubrey, 315th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal craftsman, documents the training scenario at the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station EOD range, Nov. 2, 2017. EOD personnel wear bomb safety suits when the threat of an explosion is present. A bomb suit, EOD suit or a blast suit is a heavy suit of body armor designed to withstand the pressure generated by a bomb and any fragments it may produce.
