JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Cheree Voto, left, 628th Aerospace Medical Squadron immunization backup technician, administers the annual flu shot to U.S. Air Force Col. Jimmy Canlas, right, 437th Airlift Wing commander, during a mobile flu line in the Joint Base Charleston Headquarters Building Nov. 7, 2017. The 628th Medical Group has been distributing this year’s flu shot to all active-duty service members and high risk patients such as those 65 years old and older, pregnant, diabetics and persons with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or asthma as well as children from 6 months to 8 years of age since Nov. 2. The flu shot is available to all active-duty service members and high risk patients at the Immunizations Clinic on the first floor of the 628th Medical Group Medical Treatment Facility here. The Immunizations Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. A mass influenza shot line for active duty service members will be held Nov. 15 in the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron’s warehouse.
