JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. – Airmen answer phones and track transient aircraft flight information in the Joint Base Charleston Command Post Feb. 11, 2015. The CP coordinates both military and community aide.  When incidents happen on or off base, controllers are normally the first to know.  Controllers become the hub in a crisis and provide vital information to the commanders across JB Charleston. The controllers currently work 12-hour shifts.
