Maj. James Blackman hands a holiday safety flashlight to a driver leaving Charleston AFB through the Dorchester Road main gate Dec. 23. Major Blackman was joined by volunteers from the 437th Communications Squadron, 437th Medical Group, 437th Maintenance Group and 437th Airlift Wing staff during the safety send-off event which delivered more than 1,700 flashlights to drivers as a safety reminder during the holidays.
