Airman 1st Class Eric Duncan removes a safety pin attached to a 46-person life raft stored on the roof of a C-17 April 25, on Joint Base Charleston - Air Base. The life rafts must be replaced every three years and take approximately two hours to replace. Airman Duncan is a crew chief from the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
