Capt. Andrew Mickles and Capt. James Marceletti III fly an in-flight refueling mission May 2. The flight took place on a C-17 Globemaster III. A KC-135 tanker refueled the C-17 in mid-air, allowing the receiving aircraft to remain airborne longer, extending its range or loiter time on station. Mickles and Marceletti are pilots with the 15th Airlift Squadron, 437th Airlift Wing. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Airman 1st Class Ashlee Galloway)
