The 628th SFS hosted the firefighters in a day full of competition known as the "Guns and Hoses" fitness challenge. The competitions included a paintball match, defender ball and a softball game. The event kicked off National Police Week, which occurs annually during the week of May 15. National Police Week recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement personnel.
