A firetruck is parked on the flightline during a push-in ceremony at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Aug. 27, 2019. The push-in ceremony was a way for the Fire Department to welcome two new firetrucks to their fleet, a P-26 water tanker and a P-26 aerial apparatus, and was the first of its kind at JB Charleston. Push-in ceremonies date back to when firefighters responded with horses and carriages and pushed their carriages back into stalls after returning from a call.
